![]() I realized that the program hasn’t such a path, there isn’t a folder with name “II BNE” and after I made it on my own and copied the editor.exe from the game root folder in the new created folder, the message changed in: ![]() ![]() “C:\Programs\Warcraft II BNE\Maps\II BNE\Warcraft II BNE Map Editor.exe has an illegal path.” If I start the Warcraft II Battle Net Edition Map Editor I receive the following message: In order to leave the program, you have to click on close.” Make yourself sure that the CD is in the CD Drive and click on ok. Probably, your Warcraft CD is not in the CD Drive. Warcraft II Battle Net Edition is unable to read a needed file. Now, if I try to start the game, I get this message immediately: I had to enable the compatibility mode Win 95 in order to install it, so far so good. Well, but I must admit that I use the german version of the game and hence I have to translate the error massage and thus it can differ from the original one.
